UBF '11 Round 2, Part III

At long last, my entries for Round 2 of the Ultimate Battle Frontier ([link]) are complete, and with not much time to spare.

Part 3:

Anzϋnden was a force to be reckoned with, but with her Signal Beam and Double Kick attacks, Sheila emerged victorious in this hard-fought battle. Her tenaciousness earned Leo the Water Shard.

As Leo made his way back towards the Battle Castle, he is approached by owner of the Lightning Shard, a trainer named Sarah. Unlike the other trainers he faced today, she openly asked for a battle for his Shard. She seemed innocent enough, but Leo knew better than to judge based on first impressions.

His instincts proved right, as Sarah’s chosen Pokémon, a Blaziken, looked battle-hardened. Wanting to make things interesting, Leo chooses his own starter, Tiamat the Charizard. The two Fire-types gave roars of intimidation as they unleashed their respective assaults…
